Questions to ask yourself:
- What is my headpiece like? Is it a majestic frontline piece? Does it fan out to the sides? Is it a tiara style? How does it fasten and stay on your head? Is it adjustable? - How does my hair respond to heat? What will your hair do after jumpin’ and wavin’ on a (usually) hot and sticky day? Are you worried about water or sweat ruining your weekend ‘do?
- Am I trying to maintain a particular style for the weekend? Do you mind washing and re-styling your hair after the parade, or are you saying “ain’t nobody got time for that” like Sweet Brown?
Once you’ve asked yourself these 3 questions, you’re ready to find a style to rock on Carnival Saturday!
